Splendor of Spalding Lincolnshire

There are many quaint places in U.K that you would love to visit. On such place is Spalding in Lincolnshire. This town is famous for its flowers and tulips. The town is mainly an agricultural town and there are many events and festivities held to celebrate it.

The main attraction of this town is the Flower Parade that is held annually on the first Saturday in May. As the name suggests the parade showcases the flowers and it is a colorful festival with huge floats created to showcases different flowers. It promotes the season of spring. The whole festival is geared for fun for each and every member of the family.

The Pumpkin Festival is held in this town during October and the biggest grower of Pumpkin lives in this town. You can enjoy a day of parade, live music shopping and a fair keeping in mind the Fall season and its festivities. The dress code is generally fancy dress and the whole family has fun.

The Ayscoughfee Hall in this is the fully surviving medieval house in Europe. Built during 1400s - the hall and gardens are open to the public. The museum in the those showcases the history of the house and the agricultural industry of the area while the gardens have a children's playground, tennis courts as well as golfing.



There are around 40 outlet stores at Springfields for the lovers of shopping. There is a 25 acre garden surrounding the shopping centre that has been landscaped and includes an indoor children's area making it enjoyable for the whole family.

This town is a family destination. The kids will specially enjoy it. The town is must for families with young children to visit as it will impart them knowledge about flowers and vegetables. Many children in the city would not have seen vegetables growing so it will be an eye-opener for them
